The Staff was really just a big stick…Anyway, it was capped by an elaborate headpiece with a carving of the sun at the top. What you had to do was take the Staff to a special map room in Tanis--it had the whole city laid out in miniature on the floor. When you placed the Staff in a certain spot in this room, at a certain time of day, the sun would shine through a hole here in the headpiece and then send a beam of light down here—to the map--giving you the location of the Well of the Souls...

Big thumbs up from me.
No kidding. Just finished and there was a huge jump in the awesome quotient over all the other episodes so far. Eliza Dushku wasn't kidding when she said it got better.
That episode was absolutely outstanding. Did Boyd intentionally interrupt Topher's process to give someone (Alpha?) the opportunity to tamper with Echo's imprint?
I'm guessing the "someone" was either Amy Acker or Topher's assistant person. I also thoughht Boyd intentionally distracted him.
I like the Amy Acker theory, Dan.
Ugh. Dollhouse is just doing horribly in the ratings. It dropped down this past week. Sure, more people watch week 2 of the NCAA tournament in general, but that's probably not their demo anyway. No BSG to compete against this past week either :(
Doesn't look good for renewal.
