What about the recently released BF2?
BF2 is a beautiful game, don't get me wrong, I bought it and love it. But EA is just plain evil and trying to suck the marrow out of small server communities and the gamers that support them. There were, and might be for a short while longer, thriving communities of Battlefield 1942 gamers that geared up for BF2 with the purchase of new servers only to find out that they can't be ranked unless they buy into one of EA's crappy/laggy server boxes. Also they have to pay something like $8 a slot monthly. Try multiplying that by 32 or 64. Even worse, EA gives you the tools to mod the game but mods are limited to EA approval only. EA is effectively choking to death the communities that kept their old releases going and got gamers interested in new titles from the series. How would you like it if your car manufacturer kept charging you by the mile? Dictated the color of your car? Forced you to lease passenger seats? We already paid for the damn game now they want a monopoly on how we are allowed to play it.
Did I mention that their approved servers LAG LIKE HELL and are MOSTLY UNPLAYABLE save rare exceptions?

There were 10,000 hacks downloaded last year and EA can do nothing about them! Every time you play BF2 or 2142 you are guarenteed to have a hacker playing with or against you so good luck being the best you can be. EA would rather bully stat padders who don't harm anyone. Keep resetting the padding accounts EA/DICE, it just recruits more hackers and makes better padders.
hell yeah. I don't give a shit about anything else they did, but EA did buy out Westwood studios and then fuck up C&C tiberium wars. I wasn't so pissed off untill I read a blog the other day comparing C&C tiberian sun to C&C tiberium wars 3, and I realized just how much better the game would have been if Westwood had made it. and now they're ending the series (with C&C 4). fuck them. I just hope that tiberium wars 4 isn't too painfull
Hi there! I used to really enjoy EA, well, I still do... I love their wonderful sim games... BUT! they're messed up! I needed help because my sims just decided they didnt want to travel anymore on sims 3 world adventures... so I emailed them, and they just never responded. AND! they promised there would be an Eiffel Tower in the france destination in World Adventures (but they lied.) I hate them and they should fall off a cliff of monkeys!
dead speac is the 2nd game i bought (after crysis) that has a glitch in one of the levels and it wont let me pass. i spoke to their customer support, and in a nutshell, they said its my problem and i needed to fix it by myself. im finished with this fucking company, if they didnt make great games, i wouldnt have dealt with them in the first place.
