I'm Waiting For Robertson To Blame Katrina On Teh Gays

Drew told me about this yesterday, but check this out. FEMA's website listing aid groups for Katrina is overwhelmingly populated by religious groups. Now, this isn't to say that religious groups don't mean well nor that they can't contribute a lot, but really, look at that list. Evidently there are several secular groups that have been involved with relief efforts for over twenty years that have been excluded, while Pat Robertson's group is listed right after the Red Cross. It sounds distasteful to bring this sort of thing up in a time of tragedy, but when you look it definitely seems like there's something odd going on.
