Brilliant. As some of you know, I'm strongly in favour of castration of convicted rapists. Actually, 'castration' is probably too mild a term, because that could be done surgically or chemically, with minimal pain for the rapist. My preference would be for the violent mutilation of the convicted rapist's genitals. Say, with a golf club or baseball bat.
Oh, and this isn't about trying to discourage rape by providing a disincentive, like death penalty advocates say. Nor, obviously, is this about rehabilitation. This, plain and simple, is the state taking revenge on a rapist in exact parallel with the violation of the victim.
