Lily Allen
I've listened to most of the tracks on Lily Allen's album "It's Not Me, It's You" and I have to say...I like it. It's definitely light, pop music, which isn't my usual fair, but it's really damn catchy. Plus her lyrics are kind of funny and she's got a great British accent. So am I crazy or do other people like this over their most snobby impulses?

I haven't heard the new album yet, except for a couple of tracks. But her first album, "Alright, Still" is fantastic.
Personally, I like "fuck you"- it's so happy and uplifting, yet very harsh.
Cassandra, you speak truth! There are several good ones: "Fuck You", "22", "Not Fair", "The Fear" and more. This really isn't my normal musical milieu, but damn is she catchy.
Lilly Allen is fantastic, lyric wise. Kate Nash, another Brit, also has some... clever lyrics, if you like that sort of thing.
