This is a final test of the new expanded comments system and what it can do. I hope this worked. That would be wicked cool. I need lots of text here to make it look right. Anyone know how the Transformers got back and forth to Cybertron in the first couple seasons of the cartoon? How about the name of Skeletor's castle? The name of the biker gang which was bizarrely a part of the worldwide organization known as Cobra? Where did the Carebears live? I'll give you five points a piece for those, one entry per person.
This part is a test to see if I can get lyrics to still show up on the main page outside of the expandable comments tags.

One final note here. There is going to be a "But wait, there's more!" link on every post, even though not every post will be truncated. Yeah, it's super annoying but I don't know how to make that not happen.
The Transformers used a device called (I believe) a space bridge. It was a big ring that would basically warp you between Earth and Cybertron. If I'm not mistaken, Megatron nearly used the Space Bridge to physically bring Cybertron to Earth.
One of his crazier plans, I thought. And that's saying something.
Skeletor's Castle's name was Castle Greyskull. Mwahaha
Manda
Or Grayskull. I dunno if it's an a or an e.
Manda
yes, it worked, hooray, additional comments! And I think it's "grayskull" though, admittedly, I could be wrong.
yxsli - adj. Finnish for the name of the male lead in "Princess Bride" or the character played by the one, the only Wil Wheaton on TNG.
Please, you fools know nothing about Skeletor and his mighty castle. You are all so laughably wrong I can barely contain my overflowing amusement. Had I not already scored points for identifying Megatron's space bridge, I would delight in shaming you all with the true and correct answer to MosBen's childishly easy question.
Grumlock thanks you for your amusing display of not-knowing-stuff-ishness.
Cobra Commander and Zartan workded with the Dreadnoks, a biker gang, frequently. Origionally the Dreadnoks were a violent biker gang which left mayhem in its wake. Several members of the Dreadnoks had military or para-military backgrounds. They created violence, for the sake of violence and terrorized innocent people (who often wore tightrolled jeans) and destroyed property.
Zartan hired the Dreadnoks as mercenaries and diversions. Zartan usually worked along side a repeat cast of Dreadnoks: Buzzer, Ripper and Torch; these three were the most brutal and intimidate-able.
Skeltor lived in Snake Mountain. I owned so many of those toys, if i looked hard enough I could still find most of them. I wonder if anybody would be willing to buy my old, moldy, crusty toys from the '80s?
Extra points to Sarah and Grumlock for all the comletely extraneous information. That's what being a nerd is all about!
And yes, I'm sorry Manda and Joy, Castle Grayskull is incorrect. The Sorceress lived there and guarded the many secrets it held. She also gave He-man his powers to further protect the Castle and the entire planet of Eternia. Most of the clashes between He-Man and Skeletor were an attempt Skeletor to get ahold of He-man's sword which, when combined with Skeletor's own sword, would open the gates to the Castle and give him access to the aforementioned secrets.
Skeletor did have his own castle on a mountain though, where all of his minions slept, except Beastman because he smelled bad.
Just a bit too slow Dan!
Grumlock exults in glory!
Also, you guys realize, I hope, that I announced in a previous thread that I was planning on having a Word Verification Definition Contest (probably weekly). I mean, I guess you can continue to define away for fun, but I hope that most of the time you're doing substantive commenting too (note that I'm not refering to your posts here).
ah well, i tried. and grumlock the douchebag, i didnt say i knew anything about it, i googled it. so get off your i-know-everything-i'm-an-ass-nerd-tower.
Manda
Grumlock will never leave the I-Know-Everything-I'm-An-Ass-Nerd Tower. The Ikeia'an Tower is Grumlock's cherished home. The world outside the Ikeia'an Tower is frightening and strange to me.
Jamie- Two words: Robot Porn. Most transformers changed into vehicles but there were a special few that turned into...uh...other things. There were ones that turned into strap-ons, and dildos and vibrators with internal combustion engines. And for those truly adventrous Decepticons there were S&M and bondage transformers. You haven't lived until you see a 20 foot tall robot turn into a rack with handcuffs coming from each appendage. God only knows where the leather came from. And it all finished with a money shot that made the Exxon Valdeez look like shot glass spilled.
As for the numbers thing, half of those early Autobots were tiny. Look at Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, those guys couldn't fight dick.
Also, I shit you not, some of the Autobots left their girlfriendbots back on Cybertron and Shockwave spent a good deal of time "fighting" them. I think he and the ladies just staged the fight when the Earth-bound transformers came back that one time to cover up the fact that they were having a kinky four-way cheatathon.
As long as we're critiquing Shockwave...so Megatron turned into a badass handgun that could be weilded by his buddies, but Shockwave just turned into a really really big handgun; too big to be held by anyone other than Omega Supreme, who was, of course, on the other team. It sort of defeates the purpose of turning into a handgun if nobody can hold you.
Really effective information, much thanks for the article.
space brige is megatron power saver, if i'm not mistaken... it is the most prestigious thing ever happen in transformer..
